Cambridge Beer Festival: Let’s go volunteering together!
CURAS will go volunteering at the Cambridge Beer Festival: CAMRA festivals are ENTIRELY run by volunteers, so this is a great opportunity to see how things work from the other side while having fun together!

All volunteers get a meal token, vouchers that can be exchanged with pints or other stuff sold at the festival, a super nice time and… needless to say, the possibility of trying out the beers you are serving!

Membership sign-up deadlines for 2018/19
The following are the deadlines for getting a CURAS membership card for the current academic year 2018/19.
Monday 13th May: last chance to buy membership via bank transfer.
Wednesday 15th May: last chance to buy membership in person.
Come find us at The Maypole pub (20A Portugal Place, CB5 8AF) from 7pm to 9pm. Please bring £5 and your university card.
Cheese and Ale Tasting
The first event of term will be a cheese and beer pairing tasting, where we will explore together how yummy this combo can be.
There are 12 places, so secure one by filling in the doodle below.
Price: around £10 per person (£12 for non-members), TBC once we have the final number of participants.
